Why is aluminum preferred to be done by cold chamber die casting than hot chamber die casting?

Aluminium-based alloys are vastly used for die casting on account of their special properties of lightness combined with fairly good strength and resistance to corrosion. Due to the likelihood of these alloys picking up iron at high temperatures, cold chamber process is generally favoured for their castings.Aluminium-based alloys are vastly used for die casting on account of their special properties of lightness combined with fairly good strength and resistance to corrosion.
