The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test is a measure of the strength of subgrade soil and highway sub base and subgrade via a penetration test.
The bearing ratio tester is used to test the bearing ratio of various soil, pavement base and subbase materials after the parts are made in the specified test cylinder. To determine the bearing capacity of the designed pavement, pavement base, subbase and subgrade material layer is one of the necessary instruments for geotechnical test.
